What is a learnership?

A learnership is a workplace-integrated learning programme that combines structured theory, practical training and on-the-job experience. Successful learners may receive an NQF-aligned qualification through the accredited provider of record.

Siyaphila's role

As the implementation partner, Siyaphila recruits learners, provides venue and training rooms, manages attendance and learner support, and coordinates workplace placement opportunities across South Africa.

Accredited provider's role

The accredited training provider delivers the QCTO curriculum, manages facilitators, assessors and moderators, handles HWSETA reporting, manages POEs and HSSMIS uploads, and issues NQF certification.

Workplace experience

Learners are placed with partner salons, spas, mobile wellness businesses and workplace wellness employers to gain real practical exposure during and after the programme.
